Directions: Using the integers -4 to 4, at most one time each, create an inequality with solutions of x > 2/3.

Hint

How does an inequality symbol change from greater than to less than?
How do we ensure that the signs of the numbers do not change?

  1. Sixth grade does have kids write and graph inequalities, but this one is beyond sixth grade level under Common Core: they don’t really do any operations with negative numbers yet, and definitely don’t solve inequalities with negative coefficients or numbers.
