Implicit Differentiation at a Point

Directions: Using the integers -9 through 9, at most two times each, place an integer in each box to make the equations true.

Hint

Remember how the derivative of x and y are not the same.

Have you tried plugging in the values of the point into the derivative?

Answer

There are many answers. One is -9x^2+3y^2=-6, and dy/dx at (-1,-1) = 3.
