  1. Hi! There are 10 boxes in the problem but they can only use 9 different digits. Or are the negative and positive numbers considered different digits? The answer options only use 9 digits.

      Hi Heather! Great question. Negative and positive numbers are considered different integers. With the integers -9 through 9, there are 19 different possible numbers to use for this problem.
