Powers of “i”

Directions: Using the digits 0 to 9, at most one time each, place a digit in each box to make the equation true.

Hint

After choosing a value for the first box, think of the remainder that’s needed for the two-digit power and three-digit power.

Answer

Two answers are:

i^2=i^14=i^398
i^3=i^87=i^651
