  1. 1/12 chance means that there are 2/24 possibilities before being reduced. If that is the case then you could have 5 (4+1 and 2+3), 8 (5+3, 4+4), finally 9 (4+5 and 6+3) as well

    • 1/12 means that there are 3/36 possibilities before being reduced. You must look for values that appear exactly 3 times in the table of 36 sums. 4 and 10 each appear 3/36.
