If the x’s are going to cancel on the left side what must be true about the numbers in the front and the number on the right side of the equation?

What Must be the relationship between the numerator and the denominator if the x’s are going to cancel?

Answer

I think there is only one answer. I’d be happy if people could find more or find a way to manipulate the equation so there would be more.
